ルビ注釈は、基本テキストの横に表示される短いテキストで、主に東アジアのタイポグラフィで発音のガイドとして使用したり、他の注釈を含めるために使用されます。
日本語では、この形式のタイポグラフィはふりがなとも呼ばれます。
